Green Recovery Support Program for Schools and Communities Against Epidemic in Remote Areas of Nepal

In response to poverty in some developing countries caused by a lack of natural resources, natural disasters and uneven economic development, CFRD launched the Integrated International Development Program to help developing countries achieve the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, including "No Poverty", "Zero Hunger", "Quality Education", "Good Health and Well-being", "Clean Water and Sanitation" and "Decent Work and Economic Growth" as soon as possible, and to convey the love from Chinese people and promote people-to-people connectivity.

In 2024, the Intergrated International Development projects raised RMB 15.07 million and incurred an expenditure of RMB 9.70 million, benefiting 69,900 person-times. In Myanmar, projects such as the "CITIC Star" Scholarship, Bank of China (Hong Kong) Pauk-Phaw Scholarship and Cataract Rehabilitation were implemented. In Nepal, projects such as Chongqing Agricultural Project, Economic Upliftment of Smallholder Tea Farmers through Tea Value Chain Enhancement in Nuwakot and Lalitpur, and Support to Schools and Communities in Remote Areas for Pandemic Prevention and Green Recovery were carried out. In Ethiopia, projects such as Chinese Enterprise Volunteer Program, XCMG Water Cellar Program, International Solar Light Program, and Female Empowerment Program were carried out. In Burundi, the Hybrid Rice Technology Demonstration Project was implemented. In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Development Assistance Project was implemented, and in Cambodia, Laos and Nepal, the International Bicycle Project was implemented.
