Founded in 1989, China Foundation for Rural Development (formerly China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation) is a non-governmental charitable organization specializing in poverty reduction, rural development and humanitarian relief. Over the past 3 decades,CFRD has carried out a range of poverty reduction and rural development projects both domestically and internationally. In China, our work is focused on five areas, including industrial development, human resource development, rural infrastructure development, rural social undertakings and social mobilization. By the end of 2022, CFRD had received RMB 10.3 billion in donations and 66.59 million people (times) had benefited from our projects.
