Rural Construction

In view of the needs of rural infrastructure construction and disaster prevention and reduction in rural communities, programs designed for the improvement of the living environment and ecological environment and community disaster reduction and prevention have been carried out to improve the living environment of rural people, enhance the disaster response capacity of people in rural disaster-prone areas, and enhance the safety, convenience and comfort of rural communities.

Jishishan Earthquake Relief Project

CFRD launched the Jishishan Earthquake Relief Project, providing multi-sector assistance to reduce disaster impact and foster resilient, livable rural reconstruction.

“Typhoon Yagi”Humanitarian Relief Project

CFRD launched the Typhoon Yagi Humanitarian Relief Project, providing emergency aid, transitional resettlement, and post-disaster reconstruction to assist affected areas and people in Hainan and Guangdong, reduce disaster losses, and support rebuilding of homes and livable communities.

Ecological Afforestation Project

In view of the lack of vegetation, land desertification, fragile ecology and low income levels in some areas in China, CFRD launched the Ecological Afforestation Program in 2018.

Comfortable Living Environment Project

In response to the lack of practical planning for rural construction in underdeveloped areas and a lack of construction knowledge among rural construction practitioners, CFRD launched the Comfortable Living Environment Program in 2022.

Rural Infrastructure Building Project

To address the issue of poor rural infrastructure in economically underdeveloped regions, CFRD launched the Rural Infrastructure Building Program in 2017.

Disaster Prevention and Risk Reduction Project

In view of the frequent disasters in China and the weak awareness and insufficient rescue capability of the public, CFRD launched the Disaster Prevention and Risk Reduction Program in 2014.

Disaster Relief Project

To facilitate poverty elimination and prevent people from slipping back into poverty because of disasters, CFRD launched the Disaster Relief Program in 2003.
