CITIC Star Scholarship Project was Successfully Launched
On September 12th, the launching and issuing ceremony of CITIC Star Scholarship Project, which was donated by CITIC Myanmar (Hong Kong) Holdings Limited (hereinafter referred to as CITIC Myanmar) and implemented by China Foundation for Rural Development (hereinafter referred to as the Foundation), was successfully held in Yangon. Ma Jia, Ambassador of China to Myanmar, Gogolay, Minister of General Office of Myanmar State Management Committee 2, Maung Weng, Minister of Propaganda Department, Liang Chuanxin, General Manager of CITIC Myanmar, and Chen Hongtao, Secretary General of China Rural Development Foundation attended and delivered speeches. Representatives of teachers and students from beneficiary schools and people from all walks of life in China and Myanmar attended the event.
Bank of China-Yangon University Scholarship Program Conducted Interviews
On September 5th, China Foundation for Rural Development cooperated with Bank of China Yangon Branch to conduct the internship interview of Yangon University Scholarship Program, and successfully completed the internship interview on the campus of Yangon University. Business representatives from Bank of China Yangon Branch, Sinotrans (Myanmar) Corporation, China Unicom Myanmar Corporation, Myanmar office team of the Foundation and students benefiting from Yangon University participated in this interview. The Bank of China-Yangon University Scholarship Program not only provides opportunities for social practice and exchange for the students who benefit from it, but also provides local talents for Chinese-funded enterprises in Myanmar, helping China and Myanmar to realize the connection of people's hearts and opinions.

On the afternoon of June 29th local time, a delegation of six leaders from Beijing Foreign Studies University visited the Ethiopia Office of the China Foundation for Rural Development. The visit included exchanges and discussions on deepening cooperation between the two sides, culminating in the establishment of the 'Beijing Foreign Studies University Ethiopia Center for Overseas Internship' at the Ethiopia Office.
