Monthly Giving Initiative

In 2024, CFRD actively promoted the concept of "monthly donation makes you happier", advocating for the public to keep helping people in need through regular, small-amount and continuous monthly donations.

Throughout the year, six face-to-face fundraising campaigns were organised, with more than 100 volunteers recruited to spread the idea of monthly donations to nearly 30,000 people. Philanthropic Communication Officer activities were carried out in winter, and tens of thousands of young people signed up to become communication officers, influencing nearly 100,000 people to pay attention to public welfare. Four phases of the Moving Forward Monthly Giving Torchbearer Program and the International Smiling Children Monthly Giving Torchbearer Program were conducted, inviting a total of 400 people to become monthly giving torchbearers.

We cooperated with 18 caring enterprises, including J.K. Life Insurance and Kaishu Story, as well as 4 media outlets such as China Movie Channel, Sohu News, and Phoenix Philanthropy. Additionally, 11 celebrity influencers—including Zheng Kai, Liu Mintao, Village Xiaojie, Dad's Review, and Modeller Lao Yuan'er—joined the effort, along with more than 10 self-media and WeChat Official Accounts, to jointly promote the Monthly Giving Initiative. These collaborations expanded the reach of public welfare programs and monthly donation concepts, increasing social awareness.

Over the year, more than 10 activities were organised—including monthly donor regional gatherings, anniversary parties, and public welfare visits to project areas—with a total of 4,000 participants attending.
