CFRD launched the Social Enterprise Innovation Project in May 2021, which explores new models for rural revitalisation through social enterprise research and advocacy, construction of an impact investment fund, research projects and industry exchanges.

In 2024, the program continued to deepen its investment cultivation system and advocacy system, carried out preparations for the Agricultural Industry Fund, conducted research on the "Social Benefit Assessment Indicator System for Enterprises in the 'Agriculture, Rural Areas, and Farmers' Field", and participated in a number of social enterprise industry events.
